I got my real estate license so I can sell my own house that I flip. I rather use my own domain name but I need to know what real estate rules and regulations if there are any.
I have a broker who is my mother in law, she is 75 years old and she’s unaware a t this point about internet stuff. I am licensed under New Jersey.
I want to build my own real estate website using my domain name, what rules or policies do I need to know? ?

If you are really licensed you work for a broker, he is responsible to know the laws of your state, ask him/her to guide you. You own local RE association may even have rules, you really need to ask on a very local level.
You need to check your state laws. In some states, you have to have a broker’s license if you’re going to flip houses that you own and you aren’t working under the supervision of a broker. Other states don’t require that.
You also need to know what the laws say regarding the things that you MUST disclose, and where and how you have to make those disclosures.
Local board of realtors. State laws regarding agents selling investment properties that they own. Laws regarding advertising and disclosures.
Those are just things to check into for starters. If you’ll tell us what state you’re in, perhaps someone familiar with your state’s laws can give you a more direct and detailed answer.
